Delete Your Data

Last updated: July 22, 2026

This page explains how to delete your Dayvil account and the data associated with it. Dayvil is provided by Jürgen Riemer (see the Imprint).

Option 1 — Delete everything from inside the app

The fastest way to delete your account and all associated data is directly in the Dayvil app:

  1. Open Dayvil on your device.
  2. Go to Profile / Settings.
  3. Tap Delete account.
  4. Confirm. Your account and its data are permanently deleted.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you can no longer access the app, you can request deletion of your account and data:

  1. Use our data-deletion request form, or email hello [at] dayvil.com.
  2. Include the email address or sign-in (Google / Apple) associated with your account.
  3. We confirm and complete the deletion, normally within 30 days.

What is deleted

When your account is deleted, we remove the personal data we hold for it, including:

  • Account identifiers (anonymous ID, Google / Apple sign-in identifiers, email, display name, profile).
  • All Dayvil content — actions, routines, schedules, reminders, day entries, metrics (including any health-related values you logged), and reports.
  • Sharing memberships and invitations you created.
  • Notification tokens and in-app settings.

What may be retained, and for how long

  • Backups — residual copies may persist in encrypted backups for up to 30 days before being overwritten.
  • Purchase records — subscription and transaction records held by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat, and records we must keep for legal, tax, or accounting reasons, are retained for the period required by law.
  • Security and abuse-prevention logs — limited logs may be retained where needed to protect the service, then deleted.
  • Data is not used to serve ads or to train AI models after deletion.

For full details on how we handle data, see our Privacy Policy.
